Day 2 in Budapest. Atilla had booked on a tour of the Hungarian Parliament Building for that afternoon so after a bit of a lie in we set off to fill the morning. Started at St Stephen’s Basilica where highlights were the cupola and the hand. We continued to stroll up towards Franz Liszt House with a quick stop at the Opera and a bite to eat. Made it back for our tour of the Parliament Building with German translation issues again - but most enjoyable none the less. Headed back to the hotel for a late afternoon aperitif and it was farewell to Budapest and off to Rome. Only bad beer of the trip at Budapest airport.
