A full day on the coast. I was up early for an unimpeded stroll up through Amalfi and then along the coast before heading back to Atrani for breakfast. We then headed into Amalfi to the maritime museum to re-live the Amalfi victory in the 57th Palio of the Ancient Maritime Republics.
It was then up to Ravello and an hour or two exploring the Villa Cimbrone Gardens with spectacular coastal views followed by lunch looking out over the valleys below. A relaxing afternoon back at Atrani followed by dinner at Annette’s favourite eatery on the coast Eolo made for another brilliant day. Oh - topped off with a cleansing ale at Luisella.
